Some of the main parameters to select are:
- Number of Carriers: The carrier is the moving element where the bobbin with the thread to be braided is loaded. Ratera offers braiding machines with 3 carriers up to 144 carriers.
- Gauge: The diameter in millimeters of the horn gear indicates the bobbin capacity of the carriers within the braiding machine.
- Take up: Choose between wheels with calendar, multi-wheel tensioning, or crossed take-up for an organized collection of the braid, etc.
- Braid Core: Depending on the core of the rope, whether it’s elastic or rigid, Ratera can adapt the braiding machine with the necessary devices for covering the core. This may include presence sensors, tensioners, guide pulleys, or mechanisms for tightening elastic bands.
- Safety :Ensure that the machine complies with CE and/or national safety standards.
