Characteristics of the E154 spindle

The E154 carrier is characterized by its robustness and ability to braid threads at high tension. The brake system with a shoe brake prevents plunger impact and improves its durability.

There are versions for high-capacity synthetic or textile fibers, as well as an ultra-reinforced version for precision braiding of metallic threads:

  • Ø 85×220 mm, with a capacity of 1,071 cm³.
  • Ø 85×300 mm, with a capacity of 1,461 cm³.
  • Ø 85×330 with a capacity of 1,565 cm³.
  • Ø 67×170 mm, with a capacity of 495 cm³ (metallic version).

83L System: The most advanced mechanical system

83L System: This advanced mechanical system, originally patented by Ratera, features wear-resistant components made of tempered and ground steel with a medium hardness of 610 Brinell (± 20 points). Carrier feet uses rotating bushings, and in the horn gear cuts are using plastic segments. The system achieves three significant outcomes:

  • Increased Production Speed: Boosts production speed by 18% to 25%.
  • Minimal Maintenance Costs: Requires little to no maintenance or part replacements in the short or medium term.
  • Reduced Noise Level: Significantly lowers noise during operation.
