Ratera manufactures braiding machinery aimed at producing all types of braided ropes and cords, in this case, solid braided cords. Our braiders produce a high-quality product notable for its durability and resistance.
Spiroid braiding is characterized by giving the appearance of a twisted or helicoidal rope, but in fact, the threads interloop among each other, resulting in a braided rope of high resistance and flexibility. Different from conventional braiding, the spiroid machine produces a product with a softer touch, ideal for ropes that require contact with the skin, such as in livestock applications or starter cords.

We customized our machines depending on your needs
Solid braid braiding machine, very similar to the conventional braider, has a trackplate with a special loop-like geometry. All carriers move in the same direction, and there are S and Z versions available. Ratera offers both options.
main parameters to consider are:
- Number of carriers: The carrier is the moving part where the bobbin with thread to be braided is loaded. There are braiders with 9, 12, 18, and 20 carriers.
- Gauge: diameter in mm of the horn gear. This determines the capacity of the bobbins carriers that make up the braider. For solid braid ropes, Ratera offers E115, E140, E154, and E208 gauges.
- Take-off system: Ratera provides multiple wheel pulling system for manufacturing solid braids with diameters from Ø1 or Ø2mm up to Ø50mm, with the range between Ø6 and Ø20mm.
