Ratera offers solutions in metallic applications. Some of the solutions include:
- Number of carriers: The carrier is the mobile element where the bobbin with the wire to be braided is loaded. In electrical conductors, we do not need a large number to make the covering. This makes constructions of 12, 16, and 24 carriers popular.
- Gauge: Directly related to bobbin capacity, Ratera offers 3 metallic models: E104, E115, and E154. The E154 allows working with very thick metallic wires and the E104 is ideal for finer wires, especially copper. The E115, being in the middle, offers a good speed-quality ratio.
- Accessories: braiding point collector, core control, traffic light, meter counting…
- Protections according to CE standards and/or national standards of each country.
