• Ratera offers a wide range of take ups for folding the braiding thread, either in Ratera metal bobbins or in synchronized bobbin collectors.

Gauge 208 carrier is characterized by its robustness and ability to braid threads at high tension. The brake system with a shoe brake prevents plunger impact and improves its durability. Its metal body and reinforced closure structure ensure stability and precision.

Depending on the desired product to be manufactured, the carrier can be equipped with ceramics, hooks, or pulleys.

There are 2 versions with different capacities:

• Ø 110 x 300 mm, with a capacity of 2,562 cm³.
• Ø 110 x 350 mm, with a capacity of 2,989 cm³.

83L System: The most advanced mechanical system

83L System: This advanced mechanical system, originally patented by Ratera, features wear-resistant components made of tempered and ground steel with a medium hardness of 610 Brinell (± 20 points). The carrier feet utilize rotating bushings, and the blade cuts are made using plastic segments. The system achieves three significant outcomes:
