Ratera offers a wide range of braiding machines to produce braids for furniture, tools, or other objects, whether purely decorative or functional. Given the wide range of possibilities, it iss essential to understand the characteristics of the product you want to obtain to determine which braiding machine is suitable.
Some parameters must be defined:
- Gauge: Directly related to bobbin capacity, smaller spacings are generally used to create fine and precise products. Common spacings include E80 and E104. E115 and even some machines with a spacing of 140 are used for more robust cords.
- Number of Carriers: The carrier is the mobile element where the bobbin with the thread to be braided is loaded. Ratera offers braiding machines ranging from 3 carriers to 144 carriers.
- Necessary Accessories for the Product: This includes crimping rollers for flat or tubular braids, stretchers for round cords, take up devices for organized collection, counters, speed controls, and unique customer-specific requirements.
- Protection Compliance: Machines can be equipped with protections compliant with CE standards or national regulations for each country.
